Ok, well, part of the office anyway. John hasn't quite finished setting the studio up and there's still more moving on the document imaging end of the deal, but I've done a lot of work over the past 2 days on getting my room ready. I still have some furniture to buy and set up my computer, but it's coming along!
Welcome to the front of the building! Here you'll notice the well manicured landscaping, immaculate brick, wrought iron supports for the overhang, and of course, 3 boys examining my office window.
And here you see the road that runs in front of the office, where we are going to put our sign, part of the backyard (I just raised the camera over the hedges and snapped... I think that's some of the next door church's yard too), and some of the aforementioned hedging & the front road again, with a snapshot of the beautiful iron supports!
Don't you love the detail on this door? Easily my favorite thing about this building. A little lame, I know... but the handle? I don't know... I just love stuff like that! The fourth image shows our driveway coming in off Lake Street, and the last is our little "parking lot."
The view through the blinds in my office, and yes, that intercom is for real... it even works! Well, at least two of the intercoms in the whole place work.
AND... here we are! the desk & shelves probably aren't moving, but may still have some re-arranging to do, and there are still a few more things for me to bring to the office. BUT... these photos are the result of about 2 days of effort, so not too shabby! It's hard to imagine all of this stuff was in my room before... Don't you just love the wood paneling? HAHA. I could take it or leave it, but it reminds me of an old church basement or something.
